How the relationship works

Augusta Precious Metals Reviews participates in Augusta's affiliate program. When you click a link on this site that leads to Augusta — including the buttons that go to /guide or /comparison — that link carries a tracking identifier that tells Augusta the referral came from this site. The phone number displayed across the site, 888-610-6417, works the same way: it's an affiliate line, and calls made to it are attributed to this site.

If you go on to become an Augusta customer after clicking a link or calling that number, we may receive a commission from Augusta. This is standard for affiliate publishers and is how independent review sites like this one are able to operate without charging readers directly.

What this means for you

It costs you nothing extra. You don't pay a higher price, a hidden fee, or any premium because you came through this site. Whatever Augusta charges, it charges the same whether you found them here, through a Google search, or from a friend.

Why we still publish the downsides

An affiliate relationship creates an obvious incentive to only say nice things. We've tried to build this site so that incentive doesn't win. You'll find pages here that cover Augusta's disadvantages, its minimum investment requirement, and situations where Augusta is probably not the right fit — including pointing some readers toward the conclusion that Augusta isn't for them. A site that only ever pushes readers toward a purchase isn't giving you a real review, and that's not what we're trying to build.
