Affiliate Disclosure
This site is an independent affiliate resource that may earn compensation from Augusta Precious Metals through links and the phone number shown on this site.
Last reviewed 2026-08-12
The short version
This site may earn compensation if you contact or become a customer of Augusta Precious Metals through a link or the phone number shown here. We're not owned or operated by Augusta. This page explains exactly how that works and why it shouldn't change what you read here.
How the relationship works
Augusta Precious Metals Reviews participates in Augusta's affiliate program. When you click a link on this site that leads to Augusta — including the buttons that go to /guide or /comparison — that link carries a tracking identifier that tells Augusta the referral came from this site. The phone number displayed across the site, 888-610-6417, works the same way: it's an affiliate line, and calls made to it are attributed to this site.
If you go on to become an Augusta customer after clicking a link or calling that number, we may receive a commission from Augusta. This is standard for affiliate publishers and is how independent review sites like this one are able to operate without charging readers directly.
What this means for you
It costs you nothing extra. You don't pay a higher price, a hidden fee, or any premium because you came through this site. Whatever Augusta charges, it charges the same whether you found them here, through a Google search, or from a friend.
We do have a financial incentive when a reader contacts Augusta. We think you should know that plainly rather than have it buried in fine print, which is the point of this page.
Why we still publish the downsides
An affiliate relationship creates an obvious incentive to only say nice things. We've tried to build this site so that incentive doesn't win. You'll find pages here that cover Augusta's disadvantages, its minimum investment requirement, and situations where Augusta is probably not the right fit — including pointing some readers toward the conclusion that Augusta isn't for them. A site that only ever pushes readers toward a purchase isn't giving you a real review, and that's not what we're trying to build. For more on how we research and fact-check what we publish, see our Methodology page.
We are not Augusta
This site is independently owned and operated. Augusta Precious Metals does not write, edit, or control our editorial conclusions, and we are not a division, agent, or official representative of Augusta beyond our role as a compensated affiliate. The opinions, comparisons, and verdicts on this site are ours.
Not financial advice
Nothing on this site is financial, tax, or legal advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell any specific asset. Precious metals, like any investment, carry risk, and what's appropriate depends on your individual circumstances. Talk to a qualified, licensed advisor before making a retirement or investment decision.
